Hi there! After growing up in the cold north of Michigan, I escaped to Hawaii for college. My adventures (and misadventures) make up topics and locations in my books. (Yes, I did nearly die at Halona Cove – but not because of a beautiful Chinese agent! That’s a story for another time.)
Corporate Days!
Unfortunately, had to return to the Mainland for advanced studies and military. (Uncle Sam and ‘my friends and neighbors’ needed my service during Viet Nam.) After my stint with the Chemical Corps, I entered the corporate world of chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and biotechnology, rising to President & CEO of 4 different biotech companies.
That was brought to a close by Obamacare (The (Un)Affordable Care Act). Never want to retire, so I began new career teaching science and other assorted subjects at high schools and colleges. Still doing that here in the Ozarks but have added writing to daily activities – just to entertain and educate!
